Rakennusbetoni- ja Elementti Oy is a family enterprise founded in 1966 in Hollola. The enterprise specialises in high-quality concrete products. ACO elements have been manufactured since 1991, over 4,000,000 m2 by now. In co-operation with the nationwide installer network, ACO elements are delivered as installed throughout Finland. Part of the production is exported to neighbouring areas.
ACO wall elements
ACO wall elements with cavity structure are made of solid lightweight gravel concrete. The elements are 600 mm wide and wall-height. The scale elements with tongued and grooved standing seams are easy to install. Vertical cavities of the elements lighten the wall structure, enabling convenient installation of HVAC technology in the structures. All ACO walls have fire class and are very sound-insulating.

Fixings
The fittings are fixed with plugs that function both as normal wall plugs as well as rotate to anchor when the fixing is at the cavity, for example Fischer SX.

Characteristics
AKO wall elements are 600 mm wide room-height elements, with tongued and grooved vertical edges.
In spite of its light structure, AKO offers the advantages of a stone wall. It is durable, moisture-proof, non-combustible, highly sound-insulating and easily machinable.
Cavities can be used for conduits for electric cables and water pipes.
The surface of an AKO element is smooth and durable, the smoothing need is minimal.
The fixings stay firmly in the element.
All AKO partitions have a fire resistance class.
